About our Swim Masters Staff

Swim Masters is owned and operated by Rhea Follett who is 53 years old.  She and her husband, Jim, have been married for 28 years and have three children.  Their oldest, Austin, is a third year medical student at the University of Texas San Antonio.  Hunter, their middle son, recently graduated from University of Texas in the Honors Business Program and has started his career with CitiGroup in Houston.  The baby, Chandler, is in her junior year at University of North Carolina Wilmington where she plays soccer for the Seahawks and is studying Biology.

Ms. Rhea (pronounced "Ray") has been teaching children to swim for all of her adult life and she truly has a gift for making children comfortable while learning.  She and Jim built their pool with swimming lessons as their objective.  The pool is a salt-water pool which prevents eye discomfort, skin dryness and the heavy chlorine smell present in standard pools.  Water quality is higher with a salt system which is much healthier for your child.

Our family has been taking swim lessons from Ms. Rhea for 4 years.  She is amazing!  She has such a gift for working with children. She has pushed our son to do things I would have never dreamed he could do. She taught our first born to swim independently when he was barely three. She is stern, yet loving.

 I can’t believe how wonderful the Swim Masters Program was for my 3 and 5 year old children.  They left comfortable and so did I.   They are now great swimmers thanks to Swim Masters.
